Hamburg is more than just another stop on TC. KYLIE's 16-city album tour. After her sold-out Germany debut at Berlin's A-Trane led to an additional show, she comes to the city where her journey as a recording artist began: two years ago, still without a Spotify profile, label founder Helmut Heuer gave her demos a chance at Légère Recordings. The Hong Kong-born, London-based keytarist and composer transforms Japanese jazz-rock, acid grooves, SEGA textures, and Studio Ghibli warmth into energetic stories without words. The tour offers a preview of RE:conciliation, her debut album about a fictional life between childlike curiosity, rebellion, burnout, loss, and acceptance. The first 300 sky-blue RE:birth vinyls are sold out; the pressed-in-Germany reissue will be sold for the first time on this tour. Equal co-headliner JOYA is a multilingual singer-songwriter from Hong Kong. Her hopeful indie pop tells of queer love, faith, healing, and a life between East and West. Her current EP "What If It All Works Out?" interprets optimism as rebellion—with intimate storytelling, playful humor, and newly arranged songs. Both artists perform their own sets before TC. KYLIE's cinematic keys and signature keytar, JOYA's voice, and the shared band come together in crossover arrangements created exclusively for Somewhere Between.
