Day trip to Solothurn

Description

For this year's club trip, we were inspired by the performance of the orchestral work "The Little Prince" based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry with music by Stefan Plank in the family concert on October 31, 2026. Since November 2025, there has been a museum on the subject in Solothurn. The exhibition "The Little Prince and His World" is housed in the historic Palais Besenval, offering insight into the universe of the Little Prince. In the morning, we visit the idyllic Verenaschlucht, a mystical place of power just outside Solothurn, where a hermit still lives today. After a strengthening lunch, we are ready to visit the Little Prince Museum with an expert guide. Afterwards, you have free time or, if you wish, follow Stéphanie Stamm on a walk through the old town with a visit to St. Ursen Cathedral.

Participants receive free admission to the family concert "The Little Prince" on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
