TABU-DISCOUNTER: Asexuality and Aromanticism

Who actually decides what is taboo and what is not? And how can taboos be broken down? How about a discount store where we clear out taboos from the back shelves to analyze them more closely? That is the idea of the new format «PROGR Tabu-Discounter». In the first edition, we focus on the topics of Asexuality and Aromanticism. What do these terms actually mean? What does it feel like to be Aro and/or Ace? How do you know that you are "not" something? Do relationships happen? To give the topic more space, promote belonging, and clear up prejudices, the Tabu-Discounter aims to create a space for exchange. Jason, a member of the "Aro-Ace Spectrum Switzerland" association, will guide the evening with insights and personal experiences. With enough space for questions and other perspectives, active participation is very welcome, and you are also free to just come and listen. Feel free to bring drinks from the gymnasium or the teachers' lounge. The event is understood as a space for exchange and encounter. It does not claim to be therapeutic or scientific in nature, nor does it claim expertise from the moderator. Due to limited seats, an registration is recommended.
