Description
On the 11th Swiss Castles Day, around 30 Swiss castles and fortresses will open their doors to the public, offering attractions for the whole family. Habsburg Castle invites visitors at 11:00 a. m., 1:00 p. m., and 3:00 p. m. to special guided tours led by historian Prof. Dr. Dieter Speck about the Habsburgs and their travels in the Middle Ages. Children can make their own good-luck charms—just like our ancestors, who used to protect themselves with talismans on dangerous journeys. A small exhibition in the castle offers insight into the history of construction and settlement. The Habsburg Royal Trail uses audio stations to recount the rise of the Habsburgs.
