From 1885 through 1920, the municipalities in the Weinland region provided support to people facing difficult life circumstances. To commemorate this history and to dissolve the long-standing “Natural Food Fund for Poor Travelers,” the Association of Mayors of the Andelfingen District invites the entire population of the Weinland region to a free meal just like in the old days: 6 festival sites with the same program: At these current and former restaurants and inns: - Engel, Flaach

Saturday, October 17, 2026:
11:00 a. m. Arrival of the public; wine and beverages served
11:30 a. m. Unveiling of the commemorative plaque and brief speech
11:45 a. m. Soup served
2:00 p. m. End of event
The specially made wine glasses may be taken home as souvenirs.
