Philipp Fankhauser has been performing on stage for four decades and is one of the defining voices of Swiss blues. In this special concert, he reveals a more personal side: without a large band, but with his guitar, voice, and stories from an eventful life as a musician. Together with Flo Bauer on guitar and vocals, Fankhauser will tell stories and play his way through his blues history—from his earliest musical influences to experiences between Chicago and Switzerland. Spontaneous, direct, and with plenty of room for improvisation, the result is a concert that feels almost as if the music and storytelling are taking place in an intimate, small circle.
