Suitcase of Grace is the name of the four-member band around Neapolitan singer Grace, who has songs from over half a century of rock and pop history in their luggage. From the inventors of rock 'n' roll in the 50s like Eddie Cochran and Elvis Presley, through the Beatles and the Animals of the 60s, to the great American songwriters of the 70s and 80s like Neil Young, Tom Petty, and Bruce Springsteen, the spectrum extends to legendary guitar heroes like Jimi Hendrix and Brian Setzer (Stray Cats), and the powerful women of rock 'n' roll like Patti Smith and Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders). The quartet, consisting of Daniel Castillo (Bass/Voc – USA/Colombia), Roger Münzenmayer (Drums/Voc – Mannheim), and Frank Sponagel (Guitars/Voc/Harmonica – Mannheim), authentically and passionately re-creates all these favorite songs in their live shows. Notably, their multi-voiced singing (where the lead vocals are alternated among the musicians around Grace) and the authentic reproduction of the sounds from various eras of rock 'n' roll using original instruments from the respective periods stand out.
