Description

Concert with musicians and migrant women in dialogue The QUART Storybox gives women with refugee and migration experience from Bern a voice and allows them to tell their (migration) stories. Translated into songs and videos by artists, they share their personal experiences and intergenerational structures such as mother, daughter, grandmother – live on stage. Evelyn and Kristina Brunner weave the musical carpet with Schwyzerörgeli, cello, and bass that makes the song program take flight. "In December 2025, we, Sarah von Gunten (Verein Kariim), Anette Vogt (Fachstelle Integration), and Dagmar Kopše (Fachstelle Kultur), visited the QUART Storybox together. We were fascinated by what professional musicians from Bern and women with refugee and migration experience brought together on stage. Convinced of the artistic quality of the music and stories and impressed by the strength of these women, we managed to bring the QUART Storybox to Burgdorf. Together with the Verein Kariim, we are organizing a framework program in the afternoon: you can get to know different cultures in artistic, craft, or culinary ways." The framework program can be found on Kariim's website www.kariim.ch.
