Description
Parenting is a balancing act: children should have free space and at the same time experience security. Boundaries play an important role because they provide orientation and safety. At the same time, they must change with the child's development. Children differ in their needs, and parents bring their own experiences and ideas. It is all the more important to find an individual way that provides support and promotes independence. In a conversation with child and adolescent psychologist Ina Blanc, we explore how warm-hearted parenting with clear rules can succeed. We discuss why boundaries are important for children and adolescents and how they promote responsibility, self-confidence, and autonomy.
