Description
Multilingualism is considered an educational ideal on one hand. On the other hand, multilingualism is stubbornly associated with problems in educational institutions. Where growing up multilingual could be the most natural, it is often hindered and slowed down. Growing up multilingual could mean that the shared and individual life and learning take place with all the languages of children and adolescents, instead of unilaterally emphasizing German language promotion. If we succeed in overcoming the common prejudices against multilingualism, it also strengthens equality and interpersonal recognition. Speech therapist Simone Kannengieser makes us aware of the prejudices and encourages us to finally see growing up multilingual as a strength. There is an opportunity for questions and personal exchange. Free admission, no registration required, with aperitif.
