Description
On St. Wenceslas Day, special tours of the Václavka Tower from the basement to the roof are prepared in the afternoon and evening, allowing access to areas not usually open to visitors. The tour will be enhanced by bandits and swordsmen, interesting facts from the attic spaces, and a unique view from the balcony. Prior reservation is required for the Václavka Tower tour. This tower has largely remained in the form it had when the castle was founded in the 13th century. The most famous prisoner who stayed here was Czech King Wenceslas IV. It is not suitable for children under 6 years old and individuals with reduced mobility.
