The region around Lake Ohrid, divided between North Macedonia and Albania, is one of the most ethnically, linguistically, and religiously diverse areas in Europe. The lecture explores why this region can be seen as a miniature form of Southeast Europe and how people there have lived with this diversity for centuries.
