woerdz presents a high-caliber poetry competition. Living slam legends compete against deceased poets. Do the works of great literary figures from the beyond stand a chance against current stage poetry, or will they be sent back to the grave by audience voting? Moderation by Pesche Heiniger
With Gina Walter, Jonin Herzig, Karla Lamešić, Momo Samira Schraner, Remo Zumstein and Rumo Wehrli Music in between and afterwards by the furious Lucerne band Blind Butcher U18 poetry competition with slammers from the Kantonsschule Alpenquai, Kantonsschule Rotkreuz, Kantonsschule Willisau, Berufsbildungszentrum Bau & Gewerbe, Kantonsschule Obwalden and a free workshop. The best students from our mediation program compete on the big festival stage. A wildcard to the Logeslam in spring 2027 is up for grabs. Moderation by Fine Degen

The Spoken Word Festival woerdz 2026 offers a unique poetry competition where living and deceased poets compete against each other. In addition to exciting performances, there is a U18 poetry competition and musical interludes by the band Blind Butcher.
