Pristina, late 1990s: as the war approaches and ethnic tensions disrupt daily life, Dua, 13, tries to find her place between school, her group of friends, and a body in full transformation. When an incident shakes the neighborhood, all eyes in the community turn to her. Her encounter with the fearless Maki paves the way for a quiet and unexpected resistance: the vital feeling of being able to act through judo. In an atmosphere of control, fear, and imminent exile, Dua tentatively navigates friendship, guilt, and courage – a coming of age in the shadow of the Kosovo war, in a collapsing world.
