After the last event "The Sound of Rock acoustic" was a huge success, Lorena Huber and Hagen Grohe will take you on a journey through the rock scene of the 80s and 90s in 2027. Even without the typical electric guitar sounds, the two showcase their love for rock music through their unmistakable vocal power. Accompanied acoustically by Marcus Volpert and Tobias Ruf, they present well-known songs from Aerosmith, Alannah Myles, Bon Jovi, Beth Hart, Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, AC/DC, Journey, Melissa Etheridge, Queen, and many other rock legends as self-arranged rock duets. Hagen Grohe began his musical career at 16 as a singer and bassist in his hometown in the Palatinate and successfully completed his studies at SAE Frankfurt as a Dipl. Audio Engineer. In early 2009, Joe Perry (lead guitarist and co-songwriter of the American rock band Aerosmith) noticed him through a video and quickly hired him as a singer for his solo album released at the end of 2009. As the lead singer of THE JOE PERRY PROJECT, he accompanied him and the band on several tours across the USA, Canada, and the UK, alongside other rock greats like Slash, Mötley Crüe, and Bad Company. Although primarily active in rock, Hagen is capable of convincingly performing nearly anything due to his enormous vocal range. In recent years, he has become one of the best and most sought-after rock singers in the music scene. Currently, Hagen Grohe is working on a new classic rock show concept called THE STARS OF ROCK, which premiered in 2022, as well as his new cover band ROCKWOOD. Lorena Huber is a professional singer with roots in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim. With her natural, charming demeanor and her emotional yet powerful voice, she won the coveted “German Rock and Pop Award” in Siegen as the best rock singer in 2017 and was nominated for the category of “best singer.” In recent years, she has performed on stage in productions such as the self-production “Mauerspringer” at the Capitol Mannheim, at the “European Open” in Hamburg, with the “Adler Mannheim,” and as a supporting act for “Ray Wilson” and “Subway to Sally.” When she is not performing with the acoustic bands “Taste of White,” “Acoustic Rock Night,” “AMOkoustic,” or as a soloist with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, or rocking the stages of the Rhine-Neckar region with her own band “Lorena Huber & THE ROCKING SOULS,” she can often be seen as a guest singer in various productions alongside artists like Sascha Krebs (Dance of the Vampires), Stefan Kahne (Andreas Kümmert), Rolf Stahlhofen (Söhne Mannheims), Herbert Jösch (Heavytones TV-Total), or Claus Hassing (Bryan Adams Tribute). In addition to rock music, she enjoys presenting musicals and cabaret to pursue her passion for acting and dance. She is particularly fond of musical charity events, which she plans and organizes herself. In the future, Lorena Huber aims to make her Music-Dinner “Sweet Sounds” a hit and work on her own German rock songs with meaningful depth.
