This evening explores the legacy of the great soul music shaped by female voices. What path did the Soul Sisters of the past pave, where did their unrestrained energy, which initially drew directly from gospel music, flow? With which trends, fashions, and upheavals have they set standards to this day? On their journey through the decades, Fabienne Louves, Freda Goodlett, Tyssa Montemouhin, and Alina Amuri, along with the Rigiblick Band, including Pepe Lienhard on saxophone, ignite a fireworks display of milestones, world hits, and treasures worth rediscovering. It quickly becomes clear why songs like "Killing Me Softly With His Song," "I Will Survive," or "I Can’t Stand The Rain" have not lost their dance and radiance power and even shine brighter at the Würth Haus Rorschach than before.
