British-Vorarlberg singer-songwriter Sofie Amelie combines soul with honest songwriting, expressive vocals, and a deep belief in the unifying power of music. After studying music in England, she returns to the stage with her English band for a special concert series. Under the motto 'Soul Sessions', British soul influences meet Austrian roots. The concert program includes songs from her previous discography – from the acoustic debut EP Real You to the album Soul Girl and the recently released neo-soul EP What’s Neo. During her studies in England, Sofie Amelie gained initial experiences in the professional music world, leading to opportunities to work as a backing vocalist with artists like Ella Henderson and Daniel Pearce. She also performed as a support act for the Grammy-winning group Arrested Development and appeared at the British festival CarFest. At the heart of her work is the belief that music has its special effect when experienced together. In an increasingly digital world, Sofie Amelie consciously focuses on authentic live moments with live instrumentation. Through her songs, she tells stories, touches people, and aims to ensure that creativity, empathy, and community have their place.
