A guitar playing like a mountain massif: that is Solong alias Klara Germanier. Raw and delicate, pure and genuine. As an electric guitarist, the Swiss woman is aware of the diversity of her instrument: she strums and solos, she scratches and slides. Plus a voice, crystal-clear and at the same time velvety-rough. Jack White, Marc Ribot, and Patti Smith influence the Solong sound, as do PJ Harvey or Cat Power. Behind the instrument is a poetry- and football-enthusiastic unique, a rebel with a wink, and probably the biggest Teddy Teclebrhan fan in the world.
