Description

Soft Loft is a Switzerland-based collective led by singer and songwriter Jorina Stamm. They are a well-kept secret in the scene, but it wouldn't surprise anyone if one day they performed as a supporting act for Taylor Swift. From the beginning, their mission was to create a space where vulnerability is like oxygen and connection to others is like a summer breeze. Their sound is a sticky mix of ecstasy and melancholy, which they call "Indie-something." They feel just as at home in a tiny club packed with a sweaty, screaming crowd as on big stages in front of a raging audience.
In just over a year, Soft Loft released the EP "In Case You Get Lonely" independently, followed by their debut album "The Party And The Mess" — both produced by Grammy-nominated producer Gianluca Buccellati (Lana Del Rey, Arlo Parks). To date, the band has performed in numerous European cities, including London, Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Manchester, Hamburg, and Zurich. Their festival appearances include The Great Escape, Reeperbahn Festival, MS Dockville, Maifeld Derby, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Winterthurer Musikfestwochen. After this breakthrough year, marked by an extensive headline tour across Europe, performances at major festivals, and early recognition by influential media, Soft Loft continued to build their momentum. Their 2025 EP "Modern Roses," self-produced by the band, marked a significant step forward: more direct, confident, and emotionally profound. As Jorina Stamm explains, these songs feel like "pure Soft Loft, still about what it is to be human, just going even deeper. We know each other better, we are closer, and we have played all these concerts together, so it's easier for us to say what we want to say." The band now returns with the new single "Caught," an energetic anthem for twentysomethings navigating the tension between safety and risk-taking. The track oscillates between nostalgia and "what if" and builds from self-reflection to a powerful moment of liberation. Mixed by Grammy-winner Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence + The Machine, The National), it paves the way for the outstanding new album "Throw The Dice," set to be released in fall 2026. With this album, Soft Loft will also perform at the beautiful Molotow on Reeperbahn on October 17, and we are already quite excited.
