The slowUp recipe is as simple as it is convincing: close the roads for one day to motorized traffic to make them accessible for cyclists, rollerbladers, pedestrians, and more. The 18 Swiss organizer regions share the beauty of their landscapes. They are truly worth taking the time to explore at a leisurely pace. On the car-free experience day slowUp in the Vallée de Joux, participating pedestrians, cyclists, and rollerbladers have free access to the 23 km stretch of road around Lake Joux. From the starting points Le Pont, L'Abbaye, or Le Sentier, everyone can choose their own route, keeping in mind the clockwise direction. Bike rentals, animations, and typical regional dishes complete the popular event, promising health and fun for the whole family!
