Description
Emerging from the underground hardcore scene of Duisburg (Germany), SLOPE channels heavy grooves, raw aggression, and the spirit of late 80s and early 90s crossover — drawing from the same DNA that shaped bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, and Beastie Boys. On their upcoming album "The Same Kids Just Louder" (LP, 2026), SLOPE perfects the chaos that has always defined them. While "Street Heat" and "Freak Dreams" appeared open and impulsive, this new album gives that energy a clearer form. Built on relentless energy and unabashed fun, the songs are packed with raps and riffs, funk and flow, hooks and heaviness, grooves and grime — but this time with more room to breathe. Repetitions are welcomed, grooves can unfold, and the tracks feel more direct and physical, not because less happens, but because the essential elements carry more weight. The sound is more focused, without losing curiosity: it’s the same drive, just sharper and intensified. "The Same Kids Just Louder" is not a slogan. It’s a summary. Wheelchair spaces: Wheelchair users need a regular ticket; the venue is wheelchair accessible. Donation: KIFF Aarau needs support to co-finance the new KIFF 2.0 building.
