Klassik Nuevo Concert The violinist Sira Eigenmann and the accordionist Srdjan Vukasinovic are top virtuosos on their instruments. Their ease in handling classical compositions and their extraordinary joy of playing have led them to a unique musical style they call "Klassik Nuevo." This is also the focus of the festival of the same name they founded in Winterthur, which delights audiences year after year. Virtuosity, creativity, spontaneous musical moments, and a refreshing stage presence characterize their joint concerts. The versatile Srdjan Vukasinovic, originally from the Balkans, could be described as a musical citizen of the world. Outstanding improvisational talent and an innovative approach to classical music distinguish him as much as Sira Eigenmann. When Sira Eigenmann and Srdjan Vukasinovic play together, concerts full of surprises arise. For example, Sarasate's famous "Zigeunerweisen" or a rapid Csárdás can suddenly be followed by a Beatles song – or Luigi Boccherini unexpectedly meets the "Steiner Chilbi."
