Art to make you think and smile. The motto of the exhibition is open-ended and can be understood as multi-layered: provocative? The term is outdated, but everyone has an idea of what it might mean: provocative in the sense of excited, or demanding, greedy? Irritated, overstimulated, or already uninteresting? Or the mixture of charming and greedy? Whether positive or negative, the motto offers enough scope for provocative topics of all kinds. 20 artists from Eastern Switzerland across all genres of contemporary visual art are addressing this question. With color, form, sound, material – with passion and courage to express. The exhibition is curated and organized on a voluntary basis for the fifth time and takes place at the attractive Kornhaus Romanshorn with a direct view of the harbor basin.
