Description

This concert is dedicated to three giants of music history: J. S. Bach, L. van Beethoven, and the centenarian György Kurtág. The program is complemented by Friedrich Cerha's 'Bagatellen', honoring a key figure of 20th-century music. The ensemble performs four contrasting works that demonstrate how composers from different eras respond to the expressive potential of string trios, a demanding and transparent chamber music ensemble.
