Shared Reading

Description

Shared Reading is neither a book club nor a literature circle. It is more about experiencing literature together and engaging in conversation. We read a short story and a poem aloud together — without preparation, analysis, or performance pressure. Everyone is welcome to listen, share their own thoughts, or simply enjoy in silence. A trained reading leader selects the texts and guides the group through the shared reading and subsequent discussion. An open space for literature, encounter, and exchange. No prior knowledge is necessary — the joy of reading and listening is enough.

Shared Reading takes place at the Mediathek Visp and offers a unique opportunity to experience literature together. Led by a trained reading leader, participants can listen without pressure, share their own thoughts, or simply enjoy.
