Description

Young director Kris (Hannah Einbinder) is tasked with reviving the defunct horror series Camp Miasma for a new generation of viewers. She sets out for inspiration at the location of the original summer camp. There, in seclusion, lives Billy Presley (Gillian Anderson), the star of the original series. The professional fascination and creative obsession of both women gradually evolve into an electrifying attraction and intense relationship. As the boundaries between reality, film, and dream blur, a dormant evil awakens at the bottom of the lake. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was awarded the Queer Palm.
