Sens Unik was founded in 1987 in Lausanne and is considered a pioneer of the Swiss hip-hop scene. The group consists of Carlos Leal, Just One, Sista D, and Bio and shaped the 1990s with well-known tracks like “Le vent tourne” and “Paquito.” Their music, a mix of rap, funk, and Latin American influences, significantly contributed to the spread of hip-hop in the French-speaking region. After disbanding in 2010, Sens Unik celebrates their comeback in summer 2025 with a tour to honor their musical legacy and influence on the hip-hop scene.
