We shape our lives, whenever possible, according to our own ideas. Why should it be different at the threshold of death? Dr. med. Stefan Obrist presents various ways and possibilities on how we can design the time at the end of life with dignity and autonomy. The lecture addresses, among other things, the following questions:

• Through which physical and mental processes do we go at the end of life and what significance do they have?
• How can pain be alleviated?
• How do I find a way to deal with my fears and what helps me let go?
