A festive concert evening for the New Year’s celebration conducted by Chief Conductor Philippe Bach with music by Johann and Josef Strauss as well as Ludwig van Beethoven. In addition to the rarely performed waltz «Seid umschlungen Millionen», Beethoven’s 1st Symphony and the virtuosic concert aria «Ah! perfido» with soprano Maura Wesseling will be performed – complemented by lively works from operetta and musical.
