Season of The Dead (feat. John McEntee INCANTATION) + Türbötwich & Acibait

Description

Horror death metal with scene legends: Season of The Dead come with JOHN MCENTEE from INCANTATION as lead singer – and additionally play a special set with music from NECROPHAGIA.
With Season of The Dead, you can expect a macabre trip into the world of old-school death metal, splatter horror, and dark VHS nightmares. The project combines brutal death metal power with the atmosphere of classic horror and zombie films – raw, dark, cinematic, and uncompromising.
A special highlight for death metal fans: John McEntee, founding member and voice of INCANTATION, takes over the lead vocals live with Season of The Dead. INCANTATION is one of the defining names of the US death metal underground – accordingly, you can look forward to a massive, authentic, and extremely dark performance.
There is also another special program item: Season of The Dead will play a special set with music from NECROPHAGIA, accompanied by visuals if possible. For fans of horror death metal, splatter aesthetics, and the dark NECROPHAGIA school, this is a real scene special.
The live lineup also includes Giacomo Anselmi from Goblin Legacy as well as Titta Tani, known from Goblin, Necrophagia, Vinnie Moore, David Ellefson, Rowan Robertson, and many other projects. The live lineup is completed by a session bassist.
The debut "Zombie Chronicles Vol. 1" sounds like a lost splatter film on VHS: inspired by cult horror, undead, decay, and blood-soaked atmosphere. Musically, it is aimed at fans of Necrophagia, Incantation, Mortician, Fulci, old-school death metal, and classic horror cinema. Support:
TÜRBÖWITCH from Budapest deliver uncompromising thrash and speed metal with plenty of punk attitude. The winners of the Wacken Metal Battle Hungary 2024 have already played at Wacken Open Air as well as with bands like Enforcer, Deströyer 666, and Nunslaughter. Fast, raw, and guaranteed not quiet! Opener: ACIDBAIT from the Karlsruhe area stand for honest metal with heart, hardness, and attitude. Founded in 2023 as a father-son project, the band quickly developed into an uncompromising sound roller between groove metal, heavy metal, and thrash. With razor-sharp riffs, driving beats, and plenty of old-school spirit, ACIDBAIT deliver a powerful punch – raw, direct, and full of energy. Despite their young band history, they have already shared the stage with acts like DOWNSET, DISBELIEF, and HATESQUAD.
