One of our Betty BBQ Tour guides will take you on a time travel into Freiburg's red light milieu of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, telling stories of heavy boys and light girls. Don't miss the exciting stories from a time when some streets in Freiburg were quietly bathed in a dim red light! In the 'Schnecken' suburb, not far from Schwabentor, the 'trade' has been based since the Middle Ages. Here, police officers drank coffee with prostitutes at the legendary Cafe Ruef in the mornings. Citizens lived alongside pimps, prostitutes, and thugs, and bought their 'Lange Rote' at the 'Würschtle-Puff'. In the Arena-Bar, Freiburg's celebrities stood at the bar with lightly dressed ladies at night, and at the other end of the city center, Gina Wildkatze, the boss of the Playboy Bar, stepped out of her limousine in a long white fur coat.
