TRAVEL AS IN THE MIDDLE AGES
The eleventh Swiss Castle Day is the most important event of the Swiss Castles Association and its member castles. In three language regions of Switzerland, there is a diverse program on the first Sunday in October for a broad audience, especially families. Each year, a special theme is chosen. This time, the theme "Travel" takes us to our neighboring castle Sargans as well as along the fastest medieval route, the Saxerlücke, to St. Gallen, but also into the Swiss Confederation of the Glarner Landvögte and finally to our partner museum in South Korea.
