Description

The Swiss Artistic Gymnastics Championships (SM) bring the most important national artistic gymnastics event to Winterthur this year. In addition to the elite gymnasts who have reached the international top with their successes in recent years, the best amateurs and juniors will also compete for the titles in the all-around and apparatus events. Ahead of the 2026 World Championships in Rotterdam NED, the national teams will also use the event as a final test run. Because at this World Championship, the first selection regarding the limited starting places for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles USA will take place. The event will be held in the attractive AXA Arena of the Win4 Sportbusinesspark and is planned to be held at the same location in 2026, 2027, and 2028 consecutively. SRF Sport produces the all-around competitions of the elite fields of female and male gymnasts and broadcasts them live. As the organizer, GVKZ, with the support of the Winterthur Artistic Gymnastics Training Center and together with the STV as the national federation, will do everything to ensure that the athletes find optimal conditions and the visitors can experience exciting competitions in a great ambiance.

General Information

The Swiss Artistic Gymnastics Championships will take place in 2026 at the AXA Arena in Winterthur. Elite and amateur gymnasts compete for titles in the all-around and apparatus events, while the national teams use the event as a test run before the World Championships.
