Schubert Messe in As-Dur

Description

The Collegium Musicum Ostschweiz presents a concert showcasing two remarkable works: Schubert's Mass in A-flat major, a piece of great complexity and emotional depth, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 4, known for its energetic and romantic character. The concert features performances by renowned soloists, the choir of the Collegium Musicum Ostschweiz, and the Bodensee Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Eckart Manke. The Mass, composed without commission, is celebrated for its harmonic daring and expressive richness, while Beethoven's symphony offers a journey from a somber introduction to a spirited finale.
