Description

Only every 50 years is the open-air play «Die Blutbuche» performed in Grosshöchstetten, and only for one evening, because at the end of the play the tree is cut down. Director Mrs. Gut reaches her limits: Mayor Kellenberger remains stubborn, the extras Hans and Heiri get confused, and Mr. Schön doesn't care about traditions. Everyone talks past each other. When Schön resorts to radical means in the dispute, more than just theater is at stake. The seventh act by schön&gut offers witty satire, fantasy, wordplay, singing, and role changes – and maybe a whole new story.
