The concert features a dramatic narrative with monumental choral scenes, moving arias, and ensemble pieces that bring the biblical prophet Elijah to life, emphasizing themes of faith, miracles, and divine ascent. The performance is led by conductor Dieter Wagner and includes soloists Amber Opheim, Iona Haueter, Désirée Pauli, Nino Aurelio Gmünder, and André Morsch, with Iona Haueter on organ.
