Description

Two gorges. One running experience. The Transruinaulta and Transviamala take you through two of Graubünden’s most impressive gorges. Unique. Beautiful. Primitive.

The Transruinaulta Trail Marathon and the time-honored Transviamala together form a multi-stage race in a class of its own. The Upper and Lower Rhine rivers provide the backdrop for an unforgettable and intense adventure.

The Transviamala runs right through the legendary Viamala Gorge. Starting in Thusis and following the historic route of the viaSpluga—partly along mule trails already used by the Romans—it leads into the Schams Valley.
The Transviamala curta follows the original Transviamala route to Zillis and from there continues along the ViaSpluga directly to Donat, where the children’s race begins.
