From October 3 to 11, 2026, sheep and goats will celebrate their culinary comeback in Graubünden. Sheep and goats have shaped the agriculture and cultural landscape of Graubünden for centuries. Their products are regionally rooted, versatile, and still relatively rare on our plates today. The Schaf & Geiss Week brings them back into the spotlight. During the event week, selected restaurants in various regions of Graubünden will offer special culinary experiences. Dishes featuring regional products from sheep and goats, creatively interpreted and individually prepared by the respective kitchens, will be served. But it's about more than just enjoyment: accompanying table insights from people in the kitchen, agriculture, and the Bündner Pärken provide insights into the significance of sheep and goats for the region. It concerns agriculture and animal husbandry as well as landscape management, regional value creation, and the culinary diversity of Graubünden. The Schaf & Geiss Week thus combines enjoyment, knowledge, and encounters, showcasing the potential of these traditional regional products. All participating restaurants, events, menus, and information on reservations and registration can be found in the program.
