Chess Tournament at Souli

Description

A collaboration between Dachstock and Sous le Pont: setting up pieces, starting the clock, making the first move. Pawns advance, knights hop, castling happens somewhere, and suddenly someone is in check. A few moves later, maybe checkmate. The game is played focused but relaxed — from casual players to seasoned tournament veterans, everyone is welcome at the board. The chess tournaments are regularly held in cooperation with Dachstock. Those who want to participate should register in advance. Registration via schach@reitschule.ch. First come, first served; the top three on the winners' podium will receive a surprise prize. Even if you don't want to play chess, everything at Sous le Pont on this evening revolves around games and fun: in a cozy atmosphere, you can roll dice with your friends, try out various board games. We provide tables with different games, but you're also warmly invited to bring your own favorite game! Come by and enjoy a cozy evening.
