SAMAR the dance theater piece
With the stage production SAMAR, Rigolo explores the intermediate worlds - the area between dream and reality, between the known and the unknown.

The piece shows the journey of the artists who move between heaven and earth, always balancing, always searching. The danced story tells of the longing to understand this elusive dimension.

Like the last Rigolo productions, SAMAR is interdisciplinary. The four artists perform contemporary dance and aerial acrobatics with acting elements. In the rope installations, the dancers move weightlessly. Floating and swinging, they explore the world of being in-between.

Transparent fabrics, light installations and fine veils of mist create an atmosphere that immerses the dancers in a diffuse, constantly changing environment.

The visual poetry is accompanied by specially composed music.

SAMAR EXPERIENCE
As the crowning finale to the tour of the dance theater piece SAMAR, Rigolo is organizing an immersive art experience - the SAMAR EXPERIENCE. The space becomes an interactive world of experience in which dance, sound, light, sculpture and architecture merge. Installations that play with light and sound create new spaces and spheres. At the heart of the festival is the dance theater performance SAMAR.
