Description

The concern for optimal health into old age occupies modern society in many ways. The forum refurmo offers a public lecture of a different kind for the annual motto "Health": The author and speaker Selma Mahlknecht* talks about the "wrong body" and thus about our complex relationship to our corporeality. It is about the concept of "healthy" and "sick" or more broadly "right" and "wrong." She draws a line from our understanding of malleability and control to the concept of the "natural" and shows how multifaceted and contradictory our dealings are with our own body as well as with the bodies of others. The talk takes place on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Hotel Villa Beaulieu (former Gut Clinic) in St. Moritz.
Admission is free and everyone is warmly welcome. *Selma Mahlknecht was born in 1979 in Merano, lives in Zernez, and is a multiple award-winning writer, dramaturge, screenwriter, songwriter, and web video producer.
