S Anniversary

Description

Franz Tobler has been deceiving his wife Gerda for 25 years, pretending to be active in a polar bear aid project with his friend Markus. In reality, he spends his Wednesdays at the bar «Blue Island». When Gerda plans a big anniversary celebration, the lie threatens to be exposed. To make matters worse, there is an explosion at Blue Island. The two bartenders who become homeless as a result seek temporary shelter with Franz – and the police also show up to investigate the incident. Between white lies, unexpected guests, and a commissioner who always appears at the worst moment, chaos ensues. «S Anniversary» is a turbulent comedy in three acts by Dieter Gygli (Breuninger Theaterverlag). Directed by Daniel Schwerzmann Sr., who returns to the stage highly motivated after a few years of theater break. Eight actors are on stage for you, supported by a large team behind the scenes.
