Perhaps in the future, it will be less about absorbing as much learning material as possible, memorizing it, and reproducing it. More crucial will be skills that enable children to handle knowledge independently and responsibly: think independently, recognize connections, become creative, develop solutions, judge, communicate, collaborate, and take responsibility. And it is precisely here that Steiner education remains surprisingly relevant. It has always understood education as more than mere knowledge transfer.
