Description

Actually, Ronny's real name is Hieronyma. But who wants to be called like a dusty encyclopedia? Especially not when you've just moved to the city and are as popular at school as a serving of cold rice pudding. Ronny needs a plan – and one with a bang! When she stumbles upon the adventures of the Baron of Münchhausen in the antiquarian bookstore, she knows: this is her ticket in. Suddenly, Ronny has a grandpa who ties his horse to a church tower and pulls himself out of the swamp by his own hair. Her classmates are amazed – until the lies slowly start to overwhelm her. A fast-paced ride, even on cannons, through the thicket of falsehoods, imagination, and the big question: Is the truth really always the truth, or do we need lies to find the courage for reality? A huge fun for everyone who has ever claimed that their homework was eaten by a meteorite.
