Even today, Röfe spends many hours listening to his records and getting annoyed with his wife Brige. His life drifts by. Sometimes happy, often nostalgic, but never without thoughts of his youth love Margrit. He cannot forget her. Plagued by love sorrow, he gathers his courage one evening in his record room and flies to America to see Margrit. On the journey, always with him: his favorite German Schlager records from the 60s and 70s. With many wonderful impressions in tow, Röfe returns home. And how was it in America? Enjoy live music with stories of Röfe's adventures in America. The records are spinning, but we play the German Schlager ourselves — reinterpreted.
