Description

The community of Grächen invites you to an evening at the cinema. The program features the film "Die Vorkosterinnen" by Silvio Soldini: The story follows young Rosa, who flees from bombed Berlin in the fall of 1943, and a group of women who were forcibly recruited by the SS in 1943 in a remote village near Hitler's headquarters, the Wolf's Lair, to taste the food prepared for Hitler. They must serve as taste testers for the meals Hitler is served. The situation escalates when the July 1944 assassination attempt on Hitler by Stauffenberg fails, leading to draconian measures. The women become aware that the next assassination attempt might be carried out with poison, putting their lives in danger. At the same time, the Red Army is advancing closer. When Rosa learns that one of the women she befriended is Jewish, she must find a way to escape together.
