STAGE | PERFORMANCE Riklin & Schaub do what no one expected from the winners of the Swiss Comedy Award 2024: They outdo themselves! In "Songs that catch the eye," they once again expand their comedy songs with video insertions to create multimedia song experiences. Funny, touching, and profound. In their new concert show, the two multi-instrumentalists sing about cable chaos, their great love for group chats, and explain painfully how to peel a banana the fastest. They tell stories of men in suits, crocheted Christmas gifts from the Göttkinder, and salmonella in the Seychelles. The main thing is including a selfie. And exclusively for the best audience in the world. Riklin & Schaub use the visual dimension of their songs as an independent storytelling layer in their "entertainment with attitude," so that images or films on the screen cannot be omitted content-wise. Roman Riklin and Daniel Schaub, former members of the cult trio Heinz de Specht, are known as the brains behind the award-winning Secondhand Orchestra. As a duo, Riklin & Schaub have captivated audiences since 2020 with "profound musical comedy" (Radio SRF1) and "compelling musicality" (Luzerner Zeitung). They achieved viral hits with the songs "Emoji" and "Kuckuck" and won the Swiss Comedy Award in 2024.
