The legend of Czech and world sailing, Richard Konkolski, is coming to Starojická Lhota. The man who has sailed solo around the globe three times will share his memories of ocean voyages, sailing races, storms, breakdowns, solitude, and moments when he had to rely solely on his own experience and determination. Richard Konkolski will recount his journey from his first sailing attempts to circumnavigations and participation in the most challenging ocean races. He will also tell the story of his hand-built yacht, Niké, with which he made history in Czechoslovak sailing. Come listen to the authentic storytelling of a man who has spent a significant part of his life at sea and has overcome obstacles that most of us can hardly imagine.
