The Rhein-Neckar Jazz Orchestra (RNJO) from Weinheim has a history of over 30 years and brings together musicians from the entire Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region. It performs in a classic big band setup and is characterized by a coherent musical concept and a broad repertoire – from swing and bebop to funk and Latin, as well as fusion and contemporary compositions and arrangements. Concerts in the region, as well as across Germany and in European countries, in jazz clubs and festivals, delight not only swing and bebop fans but also lovers of Latin and fusion titles. For many years, the RNJO has been active abroad as a cultural ambassador of the Rhein-Neckar district, participating in concert tours to partner regions in France, Sweden, and Italy.
