Description

Florian Rexer is one of the most distinctive comedy voices in Switzerland. The trained actor, stand-up comedian, as well as founder and artistic director of the Schlossfestspiele Hagenwil, captivates with pace, self-irony, and a razor-sharp view of the everyday madness. With programs like “The first Swiss cabaret artist from Germany,” the “Swabian in a bacon coat,” and the cult program “The Godfather,” Rexer has played his way directly into the hearts of his audience with great success. As a German and Swabian in Switzerland, Rexer stumbles from one hilarious faux pas to another: he thought Roger Federer was a bus driver, Yann Sommer a lift boy – and after an afternoon together in Zurich, he actually calls AC/DC a boy band. These real stories and this feast of embarrassments make Rexer so unique: fast, spontaneous, quirky, and incredibly funny. Austrian cabaret artist Sigrid Hauser (Kabarett Simpl) says:
